On the south end of the park is The Historic Park Inn Hotel which is the only remaining hotel designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. On the east end of the park is the magnificent Civil War Statue, erected in 1884 and refurbished in the late 1990s, that towers through the numerous tall trees. The west side of the park features a Veteran's Monument, installed in 2005 and is designed to honor veterans living or deceased. Also on the west side is the Statue of Liberty which was refurbished in 2002. The City’s transit comfort station and main hub is located on the northeast corner of the park.
